COVID-19 Business Resources Roundup
If you’re anything like most small business owners, you’re still trying to figure out how to make your business work during the COVID-19 pandemic. It seems like there are changes and new challenges every time we turn, doesn’t it?
I thought I’d provide you with a list of resources that answer a lot of questions. I know that the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and unemployment are two of the biggest issues I’m hearing about, but that’s not all.
COVID-19 Resources
My May newsletter talked about tips for getting your PPP loan forgiven.
This Paychex Covid-19 Resources List includes a loan calculator and HR topics
Hogan Taylor Covid-19 Resources (regional CPA firm with information on PPP loan forgiveness) features a lot of business and financial information
The Arkansas Pandemic Unemployment Assistance site is finally up and running and it is for independent contractors who are affected by the pandemic. (Not sure if you’re self-employed? Read my blog from last November)
The AR Regular Unemployment Assistance site has information for employers and employees about standard unemployment. Please note that this site may not work great on mobile!
SBA Covid-19 Resources (PPP, EIDL, etc) is always a good resource for small businesses and their COVID resources are fairly well laid out.
Arkansas Ready for Business is the state’s website for all things pandemic related including PPE resources, requirements, and more.
Throughout all of this situation, it’s vital that you maintain some of your standard business practices, including (I would say especially!) your bookkeeping. Having the most updated books will help you understand where your money is going and help you make decisions about your business now and in the future.
